It was ridiculous, because you really can't judge a person based on their parent, but that didn't make it any less fun to watch. Starting out with three couples, there was one success story in the form of Emma and James who are still married six months after the show was filmed. It was kind of hilarious, and kind of awesome that dates weren't chosen based on looks.

Participants went on a blind date on a Carnival Cruise ship for three days. It was basically real life.

Yes, it lasted more than one season. The show followed two people going on a blind date while the behind-the-scenes creative team added weird thought bubbles, captions and animations over everything. Not to mention Bret Michaels, the one they are fighting for, is just an all around great guy.

If they agreed, the contestant pointed out an attractive stranger on the street and Goldin would go to work on setting the two of them up. These shows must have been terrible for self-esteem.
